Dye to Order is closed for the 2023 holiday season and will reopen mid January 2024.

Did you know that there is a fat tax? This is the extra money that larger people must pay to be comfortably clothed, transported, and live in general.  This fat tax affects physically larger fiber crafters as more yarn and materials are required when making garments to fit these bodies.  The Dye to Order - Bulk Quantities listing was created to help ease this burden on larger makers, especially those who want to make garments utilizing Seismic Yarn.

You will be able to order Dye to Order bulk quantities of yarn on this page at a 10% discount.  The caveat? It must be 6 or more skeins of the same base and same colorway.  Also, not all colorways are eligible for this discount.

A question that commonly comes up around this topic is if non-fat people can use this discount.  We will use the honor system, so technically, anyone who follows the ordering guidelines can use it. That said, please keep in mind that it was designed to support marginalized makers.  In this spirit, if you are not the target audience, please consider using the regular Dye to Order listing. 

The official turnaround time for Dye to Order - Bulk Quantities is 6-10 weeks - longer than the usual dye to order as additional supplies may need to be ordered. Of course, we will get the yarn to you as soon as possible.
